Loading ...Myth on nature?
Hey–I have to write a myth with a god or goddess about how something in nature was created. My ideas are why and how rainbows were created, why and how the wind howls, or why and how fireflies were created. Do you think those are good ideas? I need some help on to build onto those ideas, any suggestions would be terrific!

All are good ideas. I won’t help you further because I think that you can do it fine all by yourself. If you need ideas, look to the classic myths and draw from them.

I particularly like your idea about the fireflies, although you should first research a little bit about why they light up and when. Remember that myths of this kind usually deal with the fantasy of why or how something was created but it also has facts; it is just the way people in ancient times explained facts of science. Research a little bit about ancient gods in mythology; I remember several stories dealing with a spider called Anansi in the African mythology.
