christians stole ALOT of pagan holidays because that was the only way to convert people
they built ontop of our sacred sites so they would have to go in to worship
even the story of christ was a rip off of another person from way before jesus

well you might say that they really were not destroy, but more like adsorb. If you look into the cultures of southern eurpeans and the caribean and the latin americas you’ll see a lot of traditions that have to do more with paganism than the original zionistic cult of the cristians.Ex: the catholics replace polytheistic pagan beliefs with the worship of saints, and is more common for people to pray to this demi-gods than to the one god of cristianity,so paganism is not really dead, just different.

if you believe christianity was the most peaceful then you are stupid have you heard inquisition, witch trials, the Crusades, and plus Jesus died a horrible death on the cross. You dont think that is violent then pull your head out of your ass so you can see what is around you

i was once told that angering others despite there differences only feeds the flame that which has already been started.Salem witch craft trials were very long ago and we have long risen above that forget the wrong of others from the past pay attention to what they do now.

People there is no PAGANISM. Never was.
There are many pre christian religion that
are ETHNIC religions. What you call
Neopaganism or Paganism is New Age
    Syncretism.

Isis from Egypt, Astarte from mesopotamien, Hecate from Greece.

    Hello!!! This Syncretism!

    Paganism is an umbrella term.
Although I agree with you that Wicca is syncretic, like Voodo or Shikism.
The Norse, Greeks and Egyptians had they’re own Religions, but since the names are lost we call it Germanic/Scandanavian paganism, Hellenistic Paganism and Kemetic Paganism(please excuse my spelling). They’re terms, not literal titles. In my view at least.

We are selves dont use the christian term
“pagan” to describe our religion or our
gods. We dont need christian terms and
wont allow to new agers or christians to
    call us so.

I’m just using everyday words to give an explaination.
I think Pagan was actually first used by the Romans to poke fun at non-citizens in the Empire, kind of like the term red-neck or hillbilly today. Only when Christianity became dominant then the word Pagan became more discriminating, but I might be wrong. I’m sorry If I offended you.

There was also many references to Asherah in the bible. Some people even put Asherah poles next to their Christian alters in the old testament. Of course, they eventually stopped this practice and deemed it sinful.

Asherah was also mentioned in the bible many times. Some old testament Christians even put Asherah poles next to their alters to God in order to honor her too.

This was eventually deemed sinful though, of course.
