It’s based off the old show Hercules but I would have to say Hades (Mars) because he was so hot. He was such a bad*ss. Unfortunately, he’s your typical man who wants more power than he actually deserved. At the same time, I think almost all gods and goddesses had that cockiness and pride. No wonder they didn’t last long.

Hephaestus, the lame god. He is the only one who is marred with physical imperfection, yet he is the one who truly values beauty. Ostracized by the gods, he works on his mechanical wonders, and holds no grudges. He is strong, loyal and dependable, and can experience true joy through his work. It might be the reason for the gorgeous Aphrodite to become his partner for some time. Just like him, she knew that beauty has many facets. So, I vote for Hephaestus(whose better known Roman equivalent is Vulcan).

Not any particular major god or goddess, but the nymphs are the best to me. The stories involving them are myths in the true sense, in that they explain natural events, such as why we have echo and the laurel tree.

The nymphs were beautiful and the term has come down to mean licentious young women, but if you look at the stories of some of the popular nature myths, the nymphs were actually pretty nice girls. Many of them chose to remain virgins.

Good to know that there are many of you out here on Yahoo.Answers who are interested in Greek myths!
