Do you envoke a certain Goddess and God or just a general one? I pray to Athena and Pan.
I’ve done the christian thing and read the bible for most of my child and teenage years….. it’s um.. been there done that.. got the T- shirt… and don’t wanna go back…

i keep dreaming that i die, and the Goddess(i’m wiccan) walks w/me, and She’s telling me that i’m going to have to attend my own funeral before i can begin my afterlife, but not to worry, that She’ll be there. so i turn into a hawk, and fly to my own gravestone, which i land in front of. everyone’s already there for the graveside rites, n i turn back into me, and slip into a chair and wait. well, it’s the Goddess that gets up to deliver my eulogy, but it’s a christian burial(i was formerly christian), well as She starts giving my eulogy, and talking about pagan beliefs about the afterlife, an old lady i’ve never met before, but am sitting right behind, starts mumbling about the audacity of this woman, giving a pagan eulogy when everyone knew i was christian. i get mad, n look at the Goddess as if to ask if i can ‘teach her a lesson’, and the Goddess nods, but i know i can’t physically hurt the woman. it’s then that i wake up. what does this dream mean?

I was rasied christian..i changed my religion through no help of anyone else. It was a decision based on my choice. My wife is a christian so i ask for her. I do not drink, smoke, do anything illegal. I have fought twice in a war for this country as a combat medic, i have saved many lives. I live a very good life support my community. I treat my wife like a goddess. So my question is, is the bible so shallow that it doesn’t recognize the type of life you lead and only decides based on where you believe we came from. And if a christian man lead a horrible life and asked forgiveness would he go to heaven? If all this is true, then for what reason would you want to be a part of that? I would rather go to hell than be part of something that would allow such things. Sounds alot like facisim, agree with us or be tortured. And no im not saying the christian faith is a facisim, just making an educated observation based of my question.
I’m afraid you are mistake if you interpet this question as a cry for help and a desire to be converted. I am wiccan by my choice and i doubt there is anything on this planet that will change that. I personally do not believe in a hell so the concern for going to hell is not a part of this. The concern is for my wife who is concerned for my soul. At the same time i am concerned for her, because, and i appologies for this comparison but it fits from what i have heard, but it is sad that what you do doesn’t matter but what you believe. There are many people and organizations in our history that rule by threat and fear and im sorry to say this sounds very much like one of them. What is the difference between the third reich saying, “follow me or die” and a priest and/or pastor saying, “follow him or die?” Yes i know the difference is divinity but what does it say that the worst man in earth history has the same approach as the God so many americans worship. Its ok for God but not you…:(

Could the forces of nature respond to ones spirit and not be a deity?

can i be more inclined to the goddess even though i am wiccan and it’s a dual religion?
